Ingredients you may need: 

  • Italian Gluten Free Flour – 1 ½ cups
  • Dry milk powder – 2 tbsp 
  • Salt – ¾ tsp. 
  • Honey or sugar – 1 tbsp
  • Xanthan gum – 1 tsp.
  • Baking Powder – 1 tsp. 
  • Instant yeast – 1 ½ tsp. 
  • Olive oil – ¼ cup
  • Warm water – 1 cup 

Instructions to bake:

  1. Place all the dry ingredients into a mixing bowl and mix them until they are thoroughly blended.
  2. Transfer half a cup of the dry mixture into a small bowl with the sugar/honey, olive oil, warm water, and yeast. 
  3. Stir together to combine till the lumps are gone. Let it set aside for 25 minutes unless you don’t see the yeast bubbles. 
  4. Add this mixture to the dry mixture bowl, beat it for 3-4 minutes. Definitely, the mix you will have now may seem a bit sticky to you, but that’s completely fine. 
  5. Cover the bowl, and let the dough rest for half an hour or more if required. 
  6. Preheat the oven at 425F and drizzle some olive oil on the baking sheet of the pizza pan.
  7. Scrape the dough onto the baking sheet. 
  8. Use your fingers to press the dough into a 10” or 12” circle. 
  9. Let the dough rest, uncovered, for 20 minutes. 
  10. Bake the layer for at least 7-10 minutes, until you find it entirely set. A pro tip to keep in mind is to notice an opaque surface rather than a shiny one. 
  11. Take it out from the oven and give it a finish of your favorite toppings. Be it olives, bell peppers, or some glazed pepperoni. You can even add some cheese to it!
